Färe-Marcolin Konstglas was a glass workshop in Ronneby that operated in the years 1961-1991. They were known for their animal figures like this bear. The company was owned by two brothers Josef and Benito Marcolin from the famous glass-blowing island of Murano, Venice, Italy. Färe-Marcolin Konstglas ( från 1983 FM Marcolin Art Crystal, och från 1989 Marcolin Art Crystal) var en glashytta i Ronneby som tillverkade konstglas under åren 1961–1991. Bland deras produkter märks en serie om djur ( älghuvud , delfin ) och en om Snobben . FM stands for Färe-Marcolin, a combination of the brothers' surname and the maiden name of Josef's wife, Inga-Lill Färe (married in late 1950's). Inga-Lill's father Bror Färe was a businessman, and it is thought that he helped to fund the company, which would explain the inclusion of his surname in the company name.
